Something Important to Ponder...

One day a person suffers an injustice at the hands of another - let's call him Bob. Bob goes home and starts ranting and raving about it with a vengeance and begins to develop genuine hatred in his heart.

Bob's friend upon hearing this pauses and says to him, "Hatred wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy.  It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die."

His friend goes on to say: "I understand how you feel. Let me share this secret with you: sometimes I feel as though there are two competing wolves barking inside of me.  The first wolf is filled with anger, hatred, bitterness... and mostly revenge. The second wolf is filled with love, kindness, compassion... and mostly forgiveness."

Bob says, "Which one do you think will win?"

His friend answers, "Whichever one I feed."
